Curia Regis is a professional regulatory compliance services firm dedicated on assisting regulated financial institutions in Singapore with their initial and ongoing regulatory obligations under the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)’ purview. We are seeking a highly motivated, driven, and results-oriented individual to join our dynamic and growing team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Role Overview

• You will be our Operations Associate based in Kuala Lumpur.
• You have a background in accounting/ finance.
• You are familiar with financial reporting and audits, and are eager to embark on a career in the regulatory compliance space, focused on one of the world’s leading financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide active support to the Operations and Compliance teams with their deliverables, which includes production of regulatory compliance documents;
• Assist with carrying out AML/CFT screening, including filtering out of false positives;
• Support the preparation of MAS reports, including regulatory submissions and surveys;
• Maintain data integrity and confidentiality;
• Identify and correct data entry errors;
• Ensure data accuracy in accordance with regulatory definitions, and remove duplications;
• Generate reports and summaries based on regulatory data;
• Assist with data migration projects and testing related to financial reporting automation;
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Good comprehension of regulatory language;
• Meticulous work approach with keen attention to detail;
• Ability to understand and disseminate information clearly and succinctly;
• Familiarity with financial statement preparation and analysis;
• Highly proficiency with Microsoft365, specifically with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
